Revival Retro is one of my absolute favourite stores, and a must visit for me whenever I’m in London. Their attention to detail and the quality of their clothes is always superb, and Rowena and the girls who work there are so incredibly friendly and helpful!
This spring they released a collection with Becky Bettesworth, and when they asked me to feature one of their skirts I was absolutely thrilled!
Becky’s artwork is inspired by vintage railway posters, and this particular collection displays popular tourist and vacation spots throughout Britain.
The skirt I choose displays the Clifton Suspension Bridge during the international balloon fiesta over Bristol! The motive really looks great with these colours, yellow always cheer me up and I think it really shows off the happy feeling a balloon ride might give you!
You can check it out for yourself here!
Like anything at Revival, the quality of the skirt is fantastic. The fabric is incredibly soft and light, it’s fully lined, and it has pockets! I love supporting small women owned businesses, and their hard work and first hand experience of the clothes they design often shows, like in this collection.
The fabric of this skirt does not stretch, so if you’re between sizes I would suggest sizing up.
The skirt is a slim sheet skirt, with just enough legroom to comfortably bike, but not so wide that it rides up or get caught in the wind. The pockets are deep enough for me to bring my phone, keys, wallet, earbuds, compact mirror and a lipstick without getting bulky!
Thank you so much Revival Retro and Becky Bettesworth for reaching out to me and gifting me this skirt, I can’t wait to wear it all summer long!
